Lino Printing

My lino printing is an ongoing exploration of the history of natural history and the remarkable ways people have documented the world around them.

Inspired by antique scientific illustrations, museum collections, vintage field guides, and my own observations in nature, this project was born out of my own curiosity. I create each design by hand, carefully carving the image into a lino block before printing it individually. Every print carries the subtle marks of the handmade process: the texture of the ink, the impression of the carved block, and the small variations that make each piece unique.
